I've been slacking off for way too long with chapters 6-10. I had been planning to do this for a few weeks but haven't gotten around to it.

Chapter 6

For some reason Stacey and Robert are helping install a new exercise machine for Mrs. McGill. As Stacey looks at her watch, she sees that it's 5:28. Yikes! Stacey's really going to feel Kristy's wrath now. Stacey is also worried this time around because Dawn had a whole weekend to tell the other girls about her ditching. When they get to Claudia's, they say a quick goodbye and Stacey hurries inside. Stacey makes a joke about Kristy putting iron shackles on her.

When Stacey enters the room, she says the Six Sisters of Doom are facing her: Grim, Grumpy, Glum, Sullen, Somber, and Bleak. Stacey's trying to be friendly when Kristy cuts her off, asking if she wants to be in the club anymore. Kristy forces Stacey to apologize to Mary Anne. Stacey tells the reader that Mary Anne's feelings get hurt easily, which I don't think is completely true. Kristy keeps targeting Stacey, which leads to Claudia easing the tension with snacks.

Stacey begins thinking about how none of the kids she hung out with would ever be as rigid as Kristy. Um Stacey, no one is actually like Kristy. Mary Anne then wants to talk about the talent show, and asks Kristy, who says, "motion granted". Kristy sounds so anal retentive. They discuss the talent show some more, and Kristy asks for a show of hands. Kristy then says, "It's unanimous. Motion carried." Stacey then roasts Kristy (in her mind) by saying "As if we didn't know." Come on Stacey! Say it out loud! I want some more drama.

After the meeting, Dawn decides to stay back and talk to Claudia. Stacey sees this as her chance to make it up to Mary Anne. Stacey then regrets doing so when Mary Anne calls them "Bestest of Friends". Apparently Logan's sister says that. I'm surprised that MA even still talks to Kerry after what she did with Tigger. She then asks Mary Anne if she wants to go shopping after school, which the answer is yes. Stacey sees a new sticker on Mary Anne's backpack as she's walking away: A smiley kitten surrounded by fuzzy hearts with the words I (heart) my kitty. Stacey then proceeds to almost gag, and really Stacey? It's not like you guys are adults. Stacey then casually mentions that she could just wear a mask. I really want to make her swallow gallons of sugar at this point. I don't understand why Stacey's in such a rush to grow up. I know that there will be a time in life where she'll look back and regret wanting to grow up so fast. I'm getting ahead of myself! The BSC will be thirteen for eternity.

Chapter 7

This chapter begins with a shopping list: Bra, Corduroy pants (which reminds me of the bear) Ankle socks, Breton red cotton baseball cap, and Radishes-added in by Stacey's mom. Before heading off to school, Mrs. McGill tells her not to forget the radishes. Stacey gets dramatic by saying what if she were to get run over by a truck on the way to school, and those were her mother's last words to her. Get over yourself Stacey. When they meet up, Stacey brings up radishes which confuses Mary Anne. Mary Anne then tells her that she has a sitting job this afternoon. Sigh. It would've been a much better chapter if MA and Stacey had gone shopping instead. Stacey feels really bad now. MA is calm about it and tells her she's fine. Then at lunch, Stacey keeps getting dirty looks from Kristy and Dawn. The chapter then segues into a sitting job with Charlotte, which I don't want to retell.

Chapter 8

A boring ass chapter with Kristy helping the kids in her neighborhood audition for the talent show. Could they make the sitting chapters anymore boring?

Chapter 9

Stacey is at a burger restaurant with Robert and his friends being "cool kids". Kristy, Dawn, and Mary Anne show up. Stacey ridicules Kristy's outfit (in her head). She then proceeds to make fun of the Mickey Mouse on the back of Mary Anne's shirt. Stacey wishes she hadn't worn that. Stacey, since it isn't your life or body, you don't get to decide what Mary Anne wears. Stacey then realizes that she's being a real snob. Kristy ends up doing a lot of embarrassing things, like putting straws up her nose. Didn't Elizabeth teach Kristy any decorum?(shoutout to book #1) Dawn ends up giggling to loudly, and Kristy squirts drink out of her nose. Dawn and MA are giggling loudly. One of Stacey's snobby friends ask, "They're in eighth grade?" Kristy deserves that comment when she shoves a pat of butter into her mouth. I don't believe that Elizabeth taught Kristy any decorum.

The talk of a party comes up, which is being held at Robert's house. The party will be called Robert and Stacey's End-of-Winter Party. That makes Stacey sound like such an old person. Also, why do you need to celebrate the end of winter? Since Stacey's a snob, she says she'll only invite Claudia.

Chapter 10

Oh no, this is the gross chapter. Stacey is babysitting Jamie Newton who isn't feeling hungry. Stacey forces him to eat his macaroni and cheese. When Stacey called Claudia, they both agreed that Kristy, MA, and Dawn can be socially awkward. Whatever "sophisticated" girls. Stacey talks about how Jamie's macaroni and cheese looks unappetizing and orange. When Stacey's putting Jamie to bed, Robert calls and they end up talking for a long time. Jamie complains his stomach's hurting and Stacey shoves it to the side. #Worst Babysitter Ever! Jamie of course throws up and cries. Stacey hates puke, but cleans it up anyways. Ha! Payback.

Even funnier is the Newton's tried calling Stacey, but didn't because she was talking to Robert. See, being cool isn't always the coolest thing. Stacey says sorry a million times, and the Newton's forgive her, telling her sorry for having to clean throw up. Stacey is worried because she knows Kristy is going to hear about this. 1) Why would Kristy hear about it if the Newton's forgave you? 2) Stacey, you should never be afraid of a "friend".

That's it for today guys. I hope to have chapters 11-15 up soon, but if not they'll go up sometime.
